In recent years, USB-C (also known as USB Type-C) connectors began to appear in the market, which set off the climax of research and development of USB Type-C connectors. It is expected that more products will be listed in the future. The outstanding advantage of Type-C is that IT can be plugged forward and backward, and many different interfaces can be unified together. It is mainly used in chargers, mobile phones/tablets/laptops, dock bases, etc., covering consumer electronics, IT and industrial fields.

Although it is convenient to use Type-C, setting these connectors on the motherboard inside the computer will occupy a considerable proportion of the configuration space on the motherboard. In order to reduce the burden on the motherboard, various expansion connectors with USB Type-C are provided in the prior art, and the connector expansion module realized by PCI-E bus has: connecting connectors, more than two transmission wires and at least two USB Type-C connectors. The connector has the shape and size corresponding to the PCI-E bus slot. When the expansion module is connected with the PCI-E bus, the connector is inserted into the PCI-E bus slot to electrically connect with the pins inside the PCI-E bus. One end of more than two transmission wires is electrically connected with the connection connector, and the other end is connected with at least one USB Type-C connector.

On the PCI-E interface on the motherboard, at least two USB Type-C connectors can be connected by using the expansion module. A circuit board is arranged between the transmission conductor and various USB connectors, and a detection module is arranged on the circuit board for stabilizing the voltage between the connection connector and the USB connector. Moreover, the shell used to fix the circuit board is usually fixed by components such as screws, and these components have sharp ends, which are easy to scratch the circuit board during installation.
